Job Summary - The EAS-I will support all activity associated with processing of enrollment applications and data entry. In addition, the EAS-I provides general support to the agent sales force and supports internal operations. This position is also responsible to receive inbound calls from JAR agents and members. The primary goal of this position is to: timely and effectively process enrollments, comply with the insurance carrier’s enrollment submission requirements and service the agent work force. The EAS-I has accountability to provide members and agents with the support and guidance they need from JAR and its insurance carriers. General Accountabilities - Submitting complete enrollments packets to insurance carriers in a timely manner in accordance with the guidelines set forth by CMS and the insurance carriers - Processing and data entry of Enrollment Applications - Applies rules and proper call etiquette standards when receiving member and agent calls - Assist agents with electronic enrollment submissions - Ensures full customer satisfaction without unnecessarily referring members to other staff members - Maintains friendly, helpful demeanor - Uses information systems to input data, maintain databases, performs research for projects or issues, etc. - Accurately and clearly interprets operating policies and procedures - Assisting Agents with Enrollment submission Enrollment kit orders - Sending out communications as needed - Helps maintaining a clean and organized office environment - Performs other related duties as assigned or requested. Job Qualifications - Minimum Education: High School Diploma or equivalent - Preferred Education: 2 years of college - Preferred Work Experience: 1 year. Preferred Field-of-Expertise: Customer service and Sales Competencies. Customer Service - Responds promptly to customer needs; Responds to requests for service and assistance; Meets commitments.
