Entry Level Tax Preparer

Seeking a detail-oriented Tax Preparer for a fast-paced practice. The ideal candidates is CTEC Certified, organized, tech-savvy, and comfortable working directly working with clients and confidential financial information.

Duties: Assist with preparing Individual (1040), maintain electronic and paper client files, monitor deadlines for extensions and filings.

Qualifications: Prior experience in a tax office environment strongly preferred. Comfortable with Microsoft Office. experience with tax software - Lacerte is a plus but not required. Strong attention to detail, accuracy and confidentiality. Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills, ability to prioritize, meet deadlines and stay calm during peak season.
