- 10+ years working experience in data warehousing or data architecture environments
- 10+ years hands on experience with leading data integration team(s) on large-scale data warehouse projects
- Extensive Data Warehousing experience on Extraction, Transformation and Loading (ETL) processes using IBM Information Server DataStage
- Experience of leading a data integration team of 10-15 ETL developers
- Industry domain knowledge on Medicaid and Healthcare
- Experience with participating in Design discussions with business and should have worked on preparing Low Level Design documents
- Should have developed complex DataStage ETL jobs based on business requirements using various DataStage Stages as Copy, Modify, Aggregator, Filter, Funnel, Join, Lookup, Merge, Datasets, Sequential files, and Transformer etc.
- Skilled in Database programming for Data Warehouses (Schemas), Experienced in Star Schema modeling, and Snowflake modeling, proficiency in data warehousing techniques for data cleaning, Slowly Changing Dimension phenomenon
- Experience in processing and transforming high volume of data in the range 100 million to 1 billion records
- Strong experience in performance tuning DataStage jobs to handle high volume of data
- Experience integrating DataStage ETL tool with AWS Cloud native databases
- Experience working with AWS Cloud resources – Aurora Postgres, AWS DMS, AWS Redshift, S3, AWS Lambda
- Ability to readily adapt to shifting priorities, demands and timelines through analytical and problem-solving capabilities
- Ability to prioritize work and meet deadlines
- Good communication and presentation skills
- Good writing skills to lead creation of technical deliverables
- Ability to create content for design sessions and discussions with the client
