Commercial Casework Inc. (CCI), a leader in custom millwork and cabinet manufacturing for over 48 years, is seeking ambitious individuals to join our expanding team as Assistant Project Managers (APMs) in our new Sacramento facility.

Role Overview:

The APM will support project management through comprehensive administrative and operational assistance, playing a crucial role in the execution of our projects. This position demands a professional adept at managing diverse tasks efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

Participate actively in project kick-offs, maintaining detailed notes to assist PMs.

Manage comprehensive project documentation including contracts, change orders, and RFI logs.

Engage in subcontractor and vendor management, ensuring procurement and contractual accuracy.

Distribute shop drawings, manage finish submittals, and ensure readiness of job documentation.

Drive the coordination of project tasks, demonstrating proactive problem-solving and strong organizational skills.

Uphold safety standards by preparing and distributing relevant safety documentation.

Desired Skills and Qualifications:

Relevant experience in project coordination or management roles, preferably within the construction industry or related fields.

Aptitude for rapid development into project management roles, supported by any related construction or trade experience.

Proficiency in Bluebeam, Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel), and familiarity with project management software.

Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Ability to handle multiple tasks and adapt to changing priorities effectively.

Knowledge of construction practices and procedures preferred.

Compensation:

Salary: $75,000 to $90,000

Quarterly Bonus: 50% of company operating income contributed to the bonus pool, with average yearly payouts between $15,000 to $25,000, no cap, pending eligibility.
