Description Our client, a thriving pioneer in the biotech industry, is seeking a Facilities Coordinator to join their team in San Diego, CA. The ideal candidate will have proven experience in facilities management and a strong understanding of the biotech industry's unique needs.Job Responsibilities:

Coordinate and monitor facilities maintenance needs to maintain functional and organized operations.

Oversee the scheduling and execution of regular site inspections and audits.

Coordinate with external contractors and suppliers for equipment maintenance, landscaping, cleaning, and other services.

Handle facilities emergencies professionally and responsibly.

Coordinate and assist with office relocations, expansions, and minor construction projects.

Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.

Manage and review service contracts to ensure facility management needs are being met.

Requirements

Proven experience as a Facilities Coordinator or similar role, preferably within the biotech industry.

Knowledge of basic operations, maintenance, and repair procedures.

Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Ability to read and understand floor plans and blueprints.

Strong organizational and management abilities.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office and facility management software.

Familiarity with health and safety regulations in the biotech industry.

Education: A degree in Facility Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
