Facilities Manager - Eurofins Eaton Analytical - Pomona, CA

Eurofins Eaton Analytical, the largest potable water testing laboratory in the US located in Pomona, CA is searching for a Facilities Manager. This will be a full-time position, averaging between 35-40 hours per week with an agreed upon schedule. The work schedule may require additional hours of work and candidates must be able to work hours in addition to those scheduled on short same-day notice.  You will be required to pass a drug screen test.Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:Maintain and coordinate the maintenance of the 65,000 sq. ft. facility located in Pomona (CA).Basic plumbing, electrical and HVAC maintenance.Basic carpentry, painting and drywall skills.Assist the laboratory with new instrument installation and other maintenance needs.Knowledge of building fire suppression and alarm systems.Schedule and manage outside contractors and vendors for facility related maintenance and repairs.Work in a manner to ensure personal safety and that of fellow employees by following company health and safety guidelines and policies.Work in compliance to established SOPs and OSHA requirements.Other duties as assignedBasic maintenance of instrumentsThe ideal candidate would possess:Professional, knowledgeable, confident, and friendly demeanorBasic computer skillsExcellent written and verbal communication skills.  Must be detail oriented with the ability to speak, read, and write English fluentlyExcellent organizational skills and attention to detail and a willingness to meet daily commitments with a widely varying workloadPrevious facility maintenance experience.Basic troubleshooting and maintenance of equipment.
