You’ll lead with purpose, breaking down barriers to innovation in a more connected, compassionate world.A Day in the LifeThe Field Service Engineer (FSE) is the primary technical representative for Medtronic Ventilation Service. The FSE is responsible for promoting and maintaining customer satisfaction by providing on-site maintenance and repair of company and customers’ equipment with minimal supervision or direction.We believe that when people from different cultures, genders, and points of view come together, innovation is the result —and everyone wins. Installs, operates, maintains, repairs and modifies equipment.

Performs a variety of maintenance and technical support on products such as equipment, integrated systems and subsystems, and software at customer and/or field locations.

Analyzes and evaluates products and related performance.

Troubleshoots and diagnoses malfunctions to eliminate problem in minimum time.

Installs, upgrades and removes products ensuring coordinative engineering field change.

Maintains effective customer communications and relations.

May provide onsite training of customer support personnel.

TECHNICIAN SUPPORT CAREER STREAM: Provides technical support in areas such as production, operations, maintenance, safety, testing, process improvement or product development. Uses schematics, diagrams, written and verbal descriptions or defined plans to perform testing and troubleshooting on electronic or mechanical components, equipment or systems. Gathers, maintains, formats, compiles, and manipulates technical data using established formulae and procedures, and performs detailed mathematical calculations. PR) locations (USD):60,000.00 - 75,000.00 - 90,000.00The base salary range is applicable across the United States, excluding Puerto Rico and specific locations in California.
