Position SummaryWe are seeking an experienced strategic and detail-oriented Finance & Operations Accounting Manager to lead our finance and accounting operations. In this role, you will oversee a small accounting team, manage day-to-day accounting functions, and lead financial planning and analysis. Reporting directly to the President, you will work cross-functionally with leadership to ensure accurate financial records, support data-driven decision-making, and streamline business processes.This is an ideal opportunity for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment and wants to influence both the accuracy of the numbers and the strategic decisions behind them. You’ll be essential in optimizing resource allocation, managing costs, ensuring compliance, and aligning financial strategy with operational goals.Key ResponsibilitiesManage day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable/receivable, payroll, general ledger, and month-end close processes. Prepare and analyze financial statements, budgets, forecasts, and variance reports to provide insights for management. Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis efforts to support business performance and growth initiatives.Partner with operations, sales, and production teams to drive cost efficiency, pricing strategy, and resource planning.Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs), financial metrics, and operational trends to guide strategic decision-making.Analyze financial variances, identify drivers, and provide actionable recommendations to improve profitability.Oversee cash flow management, inventory accounting (specific to our custom products), and cost analysis to support operational efficiency. Ensure financial compliance with GAAP, tax regulations, franchise reporting, and internal controls; coordinate with external tax advisors as needed.Supervise and mentor a team of accounting staff, fostering professional development and ensuring high performance. Drive continuous improvement of financial systems, processes, and tools (e.g., QuickBooks, ERP software) to enhance accuracy and efficiency.Contribute to financial planning for new business initiatives, capital investments, and franchise-specific expansion opportunities.Support risk management efforts and help identify opportunities for cost reduction and process efficiencies.What We OfferCompetitive salary range; $80,000 - $120,000, commensurate with experience. Comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, 401(k) with matching, paid time off, sick pay, paid holidays and employee discounts on our products. A collaborative, entrepreneurial environment with opportunities for professional growth and leadership development
