Finance Manager - Hospice

Hospice of Humboldt is searching for a full-time Finance Manager.

The Finance Manager plays a critical role in ensuring the financial health and sustainability of Hospice of Humboldt. This position manages day-to-day financial operations, supports strategic financial planning, and ensures compliance with nonprofit accounting standards and healthcare regulations. The Finance Manager collaborates closely with the leadership team to align financial practices with the organization’s mission and goals.

Minimum Qualifications:

1. Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field.

2. At least one (1) year of experience in financial management.

3. Deep understanding of budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, and regulatory compliance.

4. Aptitude in decision-making and problem-solving.

5. Strong interpersonal, communication, and team leadership skills.

6. Commitment to compassionate care and the mission of hospice.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in hospice, palliative care or home health care industry.

Non-profit experience.

Familiarity with Medicare/Medicaid reimbursement, particularly in hospice or home health settings.
