Firewall Engineer II (Hybrid)

We are seeking a Firewall Engineer II to join a non-profit motor club member service organization providing services such as roadside assistance and insurance. This is a direct hire, hybrid capable role, located in Costa Mesa, CA.

• Ensure all Firewall equipment are always available and functional for the global end-users on a 24/7/365 basis including non-business hours.
• Maintain and Operationally support Checkpoint, Cisco ASA and Firepower firewalls and other network devices.
• Maintain and Operationally support Cloud Guard instances in AWS, VMWare NSX-T, Cisco ACI, SDN, EPG and security tags.
• Maintain and Operationally support Cloud Security infrastructure across various providers such as Azure, GCP, AWS, utilizing various cloud native tools
• Provide preventative maintenance on network infrastructure.

• 6 years hands on experience in enterprise network related field.
• Preferred expert knowledge of Microsoft Windows, Active Directory, scripting with BASH, Python
• Must possess a working knowledge of network security concepts (Access controls, authentication, authorization).
• Highly motivated and have strong customer focus with the ability to interface with all levels of staff.
• Ability to work well under pressure in a fast paced and dynamic environment while keeping a professional demeanor and strong work ethic.
• Strong network engineering background in a TCP/IP WAN environment.
