Job Details

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement firmware for new products and sustain existing products.
  • Troubleshoot hardware/firmware problems to find root-cause, propose solutions, and/or make recommendations for improvements.
  • Develop, maintain, build and perform automated test procedures.
  • Develop test scripts.
  • Present internal training to support and sales staff.
MUST HAVE, experience with SOME of the following:

  • Operating system experience - pref. RTOS or other similar
  • Creating test procedures for unit tests
  • Ethernet TCP/IP, I2C, SPI
  • Understanding of analog and digital circuits and data acquisition design principals
  • Proficiency with coding skill, documentation, and presenting/driving a code design review
NICE TO HAVE, knowledge of:

  • Firmware/board level development in C and FreeRTOS
  • ADC/DAC operation
  • Python, C, Linux
  • VHDL or Verilog
  • ARM Cortex Mx and MSP430F
  • IAR Embedded Workbench
  • IEEE 1588, or IRIG-106-chapter 10
