Our Irrigation & Lighting Division, located in Riverside, California, has an opening for a Firmware Engineer!

The Irrigation & Lighting Division of our company is a market-leading provider of multi-award winning products and services to wholesale distributors, professional contractors, commercial entities and homeowners. With several hundred patents to our name, we have a proven track record of innovation, having won the best new product contest from the Irrigation Association for three consecutive years.

Objective of the Position:

Assist in development of hardware and firmware requirements for commercial and residential irrigation controllers.

What Will You Do?

In order to grow and build a successful career with us, you will be responsible for:

Design firmware in assembly language and "C"
Have prior experience designing firmware for real-time embedded systems
Have prior experience with bring-up of custom hardware/firmware on small/mid-size devices that require
real time control (RTOS)
Have an understanding of structured programming techniques
Have extensive experience with Microchip and ARM microcontrollers (familiarity with other 8,16 and 32 bit microprocessors and or microcontrollers, such as Freescale, TI, Toshiba and ST would be beneficial);
Have experience with protocols like MQTT, TCP/IP with possible work using AES, SSL, TLS and security certificates
Demonstrate proficiency with engineering tools such as oscilloscopes, logic analyzers and power/signal generators
Communicates easily at the technical and non-technical level.
4-5 years of professional experience at a minimum
