Apply online now.SCHEDULE: 0.8 (32 hours per week), SHIFT: Mixed with rotating weekends.POSITION SUMMARY: Under direct supervision, performs a wide variety of physical and manual tasks related to the preparation and serving of food as well as clean up, sanitizing and organizing of any or all tools and areas. Performs all food service related tasks demonstrating service orientation to fellow employees, client staff and customers.KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

Ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions at a level normally acquired with completion of high school.

Knowledge of basic food service and knowledge of institutional kitchen safety and hygiene practices preferred.

Interpersonal skills to work effectively with others. Ability to communicate and interact with customers, physicians and staff

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

Must be capable of lifting medium weights frequently, push and pull carts over distances.

Must be able to do considerable walking, standing, bending, pushing and lifting for the majority of the work shift.

Normal kitchen environment with occasional exposure to extremes in temperatures and prolonged noise.
