Are you a substance use treatment counselor/provider? You can help create a needed training for others in your field while earning $500. We invite you to participate in a paid ($500, plus free training) study, funded by the National Institute on Drug Abuse (NIDA). We are researching whether an online video library helps counselors/providers work more effectively with autistic clients they may have. You can find a short eligibility survey here https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/SkillFlixSUDPilotStudy

What you will be asked to do:

Complete a presurvey (less than 15 minutes)

Complete a simulated client session at our offices in Scotts Valley (between Los Gatos and Santa Cruz) during the time period of November 14-17. (about 30 minutes.)

View the videos on your own time over the course of 1 week (up to 75 minutes)

Return to complete a second client session during November 21-24 (30 minutes)

Complete a short final survey online (less than 10 minutes)

Note you must be available for 1/2 hour during November 14-17 and November 21-24. The location is in Scotts Valley (about 25 minutes from Los Gatos and about 10 minutes from Santa Cruz.)

We need your help! Interested? Complete this very short screening survey. https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/SkillFlixSUDPilotStudy
