Description Our client, a notable non-profit organization, is in search of a friendly, organized and efficient Front Desk Coordinator to join their growing team in San Diego, CA. This role is ideal for an individual who thrives in a socially-engaging, collaborative environment and is committed to providing outstanding customer service.Responsibilities:

Greet, assist, and direct visitors, volunteers, and clients professionally and courteously.

Handle all incoming calls, take messages, and redirect calls as pertinent.

Maintain the reception area, ensuring it is clean, organized, and welcoming.

Manage and sort incoming and outgoing mail and packages.

Perform various administrative tasks, including data entry, filing, copying, and managing appointment schedules.

Coordinate conference room reservations and set up details for meetings.

Assist in organizing office events and staff meetings.

Provide information and answer queries about the organization’s programs and services.

Ensure the inventory of office supplies and initiate replenishments when necessary.

Maintain databases and information systems for efficient record-keeping.

Requirements

Qualifications:

High School Diploma or equivalent. Additional qualifications in Office Administration are a plus.

Prior experience in a non-profit or community-based organization is an advantage.

Proven experience as a Front Desk Representative or similar role.

Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).

Familiarity with office machines (e.g. fax, printer, etc.).

Strong organizational and multitasking abilities, punctuality, and reliability.

Capable of handling sensitive, confidential information with maximum discretion.
