Seeking a Patient Care Coordinator / Front Desk position for a specialty pelvic health physical therapy clinic. The position is a full-time position with competitive compensation according to experience level and performance. Duties include:
Interacting with patients, greeting them as they arrive and checking them out as they leave
Overseeing the scheduling of patients
Filing paperwork
Answering the phones and explaining pelvic physical therapy to new patients. We believe the front desk is the face of the clinic to patients, and essential for the success of the clinic and a crucial part of our team.
Ability to assist with marketing efforts, social media and community outreach a major plus!
The position requires approximately 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday. Start time is around 9:30 - 10:00am and end time is around 6:30 - 7:00pm

PelvicSanity is a world-renowned pelvic floor physical therapy clinic, treating patients from across California and around the world. We believe in hour-long treatment sessions with a qualified pelvic floor physical therapist, manual physical therapy,, and a customized treatment approach. Our patients have seen multiple other doctors and physical therapists before arriving at our specialty clinic. We are focused on providing the best possible care for our patients, with six full-time physical therapists on staff.
Principal Duties
To greet patients promptly and courteously when the enter the clinic
To schedule patients over the phone or email
To handle the daily scheduling, filling cancellations and scheduling follow-up appointments
To represent the clinic with patients, whether on the phone or in person
Handle and organize patient files and information
To stock and change linens in patient rooms
Any other duties which may be required
Qualifications and Skills
Minimum of one year experience in customer service setting - experience as a receptionist in a healthcare setting strongly preferred.
Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Google Documents.
A high school diploma is required; an AA or bachelor's degree is preferred.
Ability to interact in a professional and courteous manner with patients and co-workers at all times.
Able to take patient payment, use a fax machine, handle email communications, and a multi-line phone system.
Ability to learn and communicate about pelvic floor physical therapy and the various diagnoses that are seen at the clinic.
Handle paperwork filing in an organized manner.
Communicate clearly in person and on the phone
Abilities with social media (Instagram and Facebook) and design skills in Canva a major plus
