Full Charge Bookkeeper

Description We are offering a contract to permanent employment opportunity for a Full Charge Bookkeeper in Fresno, California. This role focuses on maintaining complete sets of financial records and conducting regular audits to ensure accuracy in financial documents, expenditures, and investments in the insurance industry.Responsibilities: Manage daily bookkeeping activities and keep comprehensive financial records Maintain records of all financial transactions, including purchases, sales, receipts, and payments Conduct monthly reconciliations of bank accounts and maintain an accurate ledger Assist in preparing financial reports, such as balance sheets and income statements Comply with federal, state, and company policies, procedures, and regulations Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable and prepare bank deposits Assist in the development and management of budgets and financial forecasts Execute payroll functions to ensure all employees are paid accurately and timely Liaise with insurance companies for payments and assist in claims processing Use accounting software systems like QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel for data processing and maintaining records. Requirements Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems Experience with ADP - Financial Services Knowledge of Computerized Accounting System Familiarity with Great Plains (GPAC) Proficiency in Microsoft Excel Understanding of general accounting functions Experience with Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) Ability to create and manage an annual budget Skills in cash flow analysis Experience with QuickBooks Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
