Work you'll do/Responsibilities
  • Implement and maintain web applications across the stack using Node.js and TypeScript, including backend express services and React clients.
  • Collaborate across team members to produce loosely coupled, highly maintainable backend systems.
  • Collaborate with product designers and clients to clarify requirements, iterate functionality, and contribute to the overall success of the product.
  • Plan, estimate, and prioritize work in a remote, distributed team environment.

Qualifications (

Required)
  • 5+ years’ experience in full stack web development.
  • Proficient in Node.js, javascript, and typescript.
  • Proficient in relational databases (MariaDB/MySQL preferred).
  • Familiar with NoSQL paradigms (OpenSearch, MongoDB, etc).
  • Familiar with in-memory data-stores (Redis, Memcached).
  • Experience building REST services (Express).
  • Experience with GraphQL services (Apollo).
  • Experience building React web applications.
  • Familiarity with React storybook / component driven development.
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.

Qualifications (

Preferred)
  • 8+ years’ experience in full stack web development.
  • Familiarity with functional programming and Software design patterns.
  • Deep understanding of asynchronous operations.
  • Experience building Python services (Flask, FastAPI).
  • Experience building Java services (JDK17+/Spring/JUnit).
  • Experience with pub-sub and queue-based messaging systems (Kafka, Redis).
  • Experience building microservice architecture at scale.
  • Experience working with agile development methodologies.
