OverviewEnterprise Mobility is seeking a responsible, dedicated person to join our team as a Full Time Diesel Mechanic - ASE Certified or EquivalentsThe Diesel Technician is a skilled position that requires the ability to perform medium duty diesel truck mechanical and warranty repairs, as well as diagnose and troubleshoot drivability problems, according to company policy and procedures. This is a position of routine difficulty requiring the exercise of reasonable judgment and initiative. This position starting pay is $34.50/hr - $38.50 depending on the number or Truck ASEs possessed. This service center is located at our Enterprise Truck Rental - Santa Fe Springs Service Center - 12940 Firestone Blvd. Santa Fe Springs Ca 90670.We offer:

$34.50/hour (+ $1/hr for each T series ASE) up to 4 additional

Responsibilities

Ensure that all repairs and preventative maintenance are completed according to the manufacturer's specifications and guidelines.

Provide safe and reliable vehicles upon completion of repairs and preventative maintenance.

Perform in-fleet servicing on new trucks according to company procedures as required.

Perform buy back/turn back servicing according to company procedures as required.

Perform vehicle servicing/repairing to maintain company standards.

Maintain the work area in a safe and clean condition.

Perform timely inspections on light and medium duty vehicles to comply with DOT specifications

Perform related duties as required

Helps in fostering a "team" atmosphere

Must be at least 21 years of age

4+ Truck (T) ASE certifications required or other manufacturer equivalents

Minimum of 1 year experience handling mechanical service procedures on/with Truck/Diesel maintenance (general repairs, PM's, DOT's, brakes, etc.)

Must be able to complete a pre-employment DOT physical exam & drug test to obtain a Medical Card as required by the USDOT

No Moonlighting allowed (no other paid employment)

Must have a registered account with the FMCSA clearing house

Welding experience helpful, but not required.

Must be able to lift 50 lbs and have the ability to lift, carry, push or pull a variety of tools, equipment and materials; and balance, stoop, kneel and crouch (medium duty labor)

Apart from religious observations, must be available to work a full-time between the hours of 7am - 4pm Monday - Friday.

Must be authorized to work in the United States and not require work authorization sponsorship by our company for this position now or in the future

This position requires a valid drivers license

Must not have more than 2 moving violations and/or at-fault accidents on driving record within the past 3 years

Must not have any drug or alcohol related convictions on driving record within the past 5 years (DUI/DWI)

DOT Requirements:We are subject to certain Department of Transportation Regulations

All applicants must be at least 21 years of age and be qualified to drive under D.O.T. regulations. Applicants will be required to submit an appropriate medical examiner's certificate, or submit to and successfully complete a D.O.T. medical examination as well as D.O.T drug test.
