We are looking for an experienced Incident Response Manager to joing a fast paced organization. This person can sit anywhere within the United States. They are going to primarily be responsible for overseeing a critical function responsible for managing, maturing, and executing the company's cyber incident response (IR) program. responsibilities:

  • Lead and coordinate the Cyber Security Incident Response Team (CSIRT) in incident response and forensics activities to make sure an incident is prioritized, the incident response subtasks are executed using appropriate playbooks, and meet agreed upon response metrics.
  • Oversee the development and execution of incident response processes, network investigations, security monitoring, malware analysis, and other cyber security incident issues.
  • Serve as the escalation point for critical and high incidents and perform functions such as log analysis, network traffic and endpoint forensics, aggregate data from disparate sources, and have experience coordinating incident response with both tech and not tech business stakeholders.
  • Manage threat intelligence sources related to indicators of compromise (IOC's) converting intel into actionable information to strengthen the enterprise security posture
  • Drive the development of enhanced visibility across technology platforms to ensure access to data sources to strengthen defense and detection capabilities.
  • Attract, retain, and grow technical and leadership capabilities of engineers within their span of control while also exhibiting leadership presence across business divisions.
  • Oversee day-to-day operations and personnel including third party incident response and/or threat hunting resources.
  • Provide appropriate escalation of information enabling visibility and decision-making processes across Technology departments in partnership with enterprise risk management.
  • Manage and provide timely recommendations for development, modifications, and operation of cloud, data, and application security technology.
  • Develop, improve, and execute on target operating models to align to drive continual improvement into the program.
