Growing Family-Owned Business Hiring for Warehouse Position

The Shipping/Receiving Clerk position is ideal for someone who has 3-5 years of warehouse experience. The right candidate is organized, has a growth mindset, and strong attention to detail. This role reports directly to the Materials Manager. We are looking for someone who is ready to learn and grow within our family-owned business and who has good character, is dependable and trustworthy, and who will have good chemistry with our team.

Key Responsibilities of Warehouse Operations:

Safely operate a forklift and hand truck

Load/unload raw materials and finished goods

Lift and move items up to 50 pounds for extended periods

Receive incoming packages / pallets from carriers (FEDEX, UPS, DHL, FREIGHT), verify part numbers and quantities, and organize inventory

Maintain receiving log (input received parts / products from carriers)

Moving received parts and documentation to the lab for inspection

Stocking received parts after inspection and following the warehouse stocking guidelines

Pulling and packing orders to ship to customers and factories

Placing shipping labels and documentation (packing slips) on packages prior to carrier pick up

Checking stock / system for parts availability and Date codes

Collaborate and communicate with other departments

Conducting cycle counts

Cleaning and maintaining the warehouse

General Support

Product delivery to local customers

Communicate effectively with internal teams and external partners

Take initiative and operate independently with minimal supervision

Requirements

Forklift and Hand truck Experience (required)

Proficient in Microsoft Product Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word), and ERP software (preferred)

Valid driver’s license with a clean DMV record (required)

Able to lift up to 50 pounds and work on your feet for long periods

Awareness of FIFO procedure (first in / first out)

Strong attention to detail, multitasking ability, and problem-solving skills
