Hand Finishing/Deburr Technician

Eastridge is staffing for a Hand Finishing/Deburr Technician in the Santee area.

Position: Hand Finishing/Deburr Technician

Location: Santee

Salary: $19/hr

Schedule: 6am- 230pm, Mon-Fri

Duties/Responsibilities:

 Removes burrs from machined parts using various hand and power tools

 Polishes and blend’s part surfaces

 Checks work to blueprint requirements with assistance

 Selects proper methods and tools for deburring with assistance

 Maintains deburring equipment

 Performs tumbling process and various polishing processes

 Visually inspects product for defects

 Maintains a clean and safe work environment

 Performs a variety of routine tasks to ensure product quality and delivery requirements are met

 Maintains logs and records of units produced including a record of errors

 Carries out other duties as assigned or required

Required Skills/Abilities:

 Must be a citizen of the USA or a legal resident alien

 Must be able to read, write, and speak English

 Must be detail oriented, self-motivated, able to work independently, and possess excellent time management

skills

 Must be able to multi-task

 Must be able to follow verbal as well as written instructions

 Must understand the importance of keeping production on-schedule to meet customer delivery dates

 Must understand the importance of adhering to Company Safety and Quality Management System policies

Education and Experience:

 High school diploma or equivalent.

 At least one year of related experience desired.

Physical Requirements:

 Prolonged periods working on feet, using tools, and performing repetitive actions that may entail frequent

bending and stooping.

 Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at a time.

 Visual acuity to read instructions, operate machines, and inspect parts produced.
