Hardware Program Manager (R&D) for Advanced Projects and Technologies The Technical Program Manager will lead cross-functional teams in the area of Research and Engineering to build out project plans, project execution, provide updates and reviews to management and stakeholders, and provide all project communications for a global search engine company based in Mt View, CA.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead cross-functional teams and manage multiple simultaneous projects with multiple priorities.
  • Organize, collect, and analyze project data and manage project work predictably.
  • Liaison between Business teams, cross-functional Engineering teams, and various supporting teams.
  • Manage risks by anticipating challenges, managing program prioritization, making trade-offs, and balancing business needs.
  • Manage program and project execution ensuring on-time delivery of projects.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering.
  • 5+ years of experience managing hardware projects in a R&D environment.
  • Deep technical background in electrical engineering, product design, and other related hardware domains.
  • Experience managing HW projects at different stages of maturity (R&D, NTI, NPI, etc.).
  • Must have a solid comfort level with ambiguity, as well as the ability to exercise good judgment in a rapidly changing and sometimes stressful environment.
  • Ability to work successfully in a fast-paced environment meeting multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Experience managing R&D/early development projects.
  • Familiar with hardware integration in various stages.

Type: W2 Contract
