Siemens Mobility Rolling Stock is looking for a Head

of Finance and Business Administration to join our organization based in Sacramento,

California. This leader owns the accounting and financial functions of the Rolling

Stock Locomotives Business Segment to ensure achievement of goals and

objectives through the optimization of EVA and the mitigation of business

risks. The business will rely on this expert's analysis and evaluations on financial, accounting, cost

and trend reports in order to improve the results of the organization. He/She/They will conceptualize and direct the development of short and long range financial

goals and objectives for the business to meet the overall business strategy. The executive directs multiple functional areas for Rolling Stock Locomotives business

segment regarding financial and accounting functions as well as other business

segments and recommends improvements in methods, procedures, and content of

accounting output, which will increase profits.What you will bedoing:In this key leadership role, you will develop and manage multiple organizational budgets and

business plans for the large and complex projects and related business. You will proactively advise as well as troubleshoot and resolves abstract problems within

multi-departments and/or cross-functional areas related to the Rolling Stock

Locomotive business unit. You will work in close collaboration with the Rolling

Stock performance controller and operations controller to ensure processes are

aligned and optimized. You will insures alignment with global locomotive management

regarding strategic planning and business reporting.Responsible for planning / forecasting / actualcontrol cost center, order entry budget and forecast.

Contributes and supports BU management

Report monthly forecasts

Analysis and commenting of contracts

Analyzing and identifying contractual risksboth legal and operational

Coordinating with other internal functions

Giving proactive contract-related advice

Contract negotiations

Cash collection

Supporting/contributing to processimplementation of the strategy in negotiation sessions

Making decisions during negotiations(proactive) within given authority level of authority (LoA)

Analyzing captured data and preparingpresentations and analysis by developing and maintaining databases andcreating business oriented formats for analysis

Standardization of contracts and improvementprocesses

What you will need tobe successful:Bachelor’s in finance, economics, business orrelated degree

15 years’ experience working in large project bidding, commercial projectmanagement execution experience

Knowledge of SAP and commercial processes, financial/ accounting value flows.

Analytical capabilities, project management& contract management skills.

Expert MS Excel using pivot tables, financial formulasand V-Lookup.

Understanding of Siemens financial rules andregulations

Interpersonal and communication skills

Strong customer focus on both internal andexternal customers

Ability to meet demanding schedulerequirements without compromising quality

Presentation skills

Experience managing teams

We wouldbe impressed if you had:MBA

Manufacturing experience with an emphasison projects

Rail Transport experience
