The Consultant designs and develops integrated solutions understanding the relevant application development, infrastructure, and operation implications for development methodology in complex customer environments.ResponsibilitiesTechnical DeliveryImplements solutions and offerings adhering to Microsoft Industry solutions processes. Aligns solutions and offerings with Microsoft Cloud for Healthcare platform and capabilities.

Functional/Technical skills including knowledge / mastery of these technologies :

Demonstrate advanced analysis skills and experience in Azure, to provide detailed reliable options and scoping/estimates for solution implementations

HL7 v2.x, 3.x, FHIR, OMOP, DICOM, Azure IoMT and Azure Hub, SMART on FHIR applications.

AzureData Storage - Common Data Service, SQL, Cosmos, Blob

Azure Services - Key Vault, Web Applications, Service Bus, Virtual Machines, Application Insights

Azure Health Data Services

Programming languages and tools including C#, .NET, Python, SQL, PowerShell and VS Code/Visual Studio

UI Experience with Angular, React, Node.js, Typescript, Single Page Application (SPA), HTML5 and CSS3

Experience designing and implementing RESTful APIs, Swagger/OpenAPI, OAuth, Azure AD and messaging concepts such as Azure Service Bus, Event Hub, Kafka, API Management

Azure DevOps and GitHub Repositories (Agile Methodology)

Display knowledge and adherence to the DevOps methodology during the entire engagement lifecycle

Support the development of test scenarios / scripts and coordinate / drive client solution testing

Develop appropriate requirements, design, testing and deployment quality documentation to support the solution delivery

Consume and contribute best / recommended practices, lessons learned, and intellectual property (IP) to the global Microsoft community with a focus on Regulated Industries

Intellectual Property ManagementHarvest and build our intellectual property (IP) by leveraging and/or modifying existing IP or creating repeatable content where applicable.

Provides feedback on Managed IP for continuous improvement, reports IP gaps, reviews IP to be considered for harvesting and curation and ensures it is logged for consumption. Improves Managed Standard Offerings (MSO) quality and collaborates with portfolio and solution teams of the domain by providing feedback.

ReadinessLearns new technologies of Microsoft Azure and industry cloud capabilities and services based on business demands and industry trends. Obtains relevant accreditations and certification(s) as advised by domain leadership team

Operational ExcellenceCompletes operational tasks and readiness and ensures timeliness and accuracy. Follows Microsoft policies, compliance, and procedures (e.g., Enterprise Services Authorization Policy, Standards of Business Conduct, labor logging, expenses, travel guidelines). Leads as example and guides team members on operational tasks, readiness, and compliance.

QualificationsRequired/Minimum QualificationsBachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Finance, Business, or related field AND 3+ years leadership experience in relevant area of business

OR equivalent experience.

Additional or Preferred QualificationsTechnical certifications based on domain (e.g., Azure, SharePoint).

Project Management certification (e.g., PMP, Scrum)

Knowledge of competing products / solutions and industry trends

Previoustrack record delivering a full project life cycle using industry standard implementation methodologies(Agile and Waterfall)

Demonstrated success managing / delivering difficult conversations and driving effective solutions to business problems

Experience in healthcare

Location/Travel: You may be based anywhere in the United States, remotely working. At Microsoft, certain roles are eligible for additional rewards, including annualbonusand stock. These awards are allocated based on individual performance. In addition, certain roles alsohave the opportunity toearn sales incentives based on revenue or utilization, depending on the terms of the plan and the employee’s role.
