Job Description

The Information Technology Analyst position is responsible for providing technical support and training to personal computer and PC network users. This position assists users in resolving problems with their PC’s using available hardware and software tools and engages users in determining potential future computer requirements. The Information Technology Analyst supports, installs, and maintains personal computers, local area networks, server hardware, operating systems, software, and related IT peripherals.

Essential Functions
  • Provides technical support and training to personal computer and PC network users; confers with users to determine software and hardware requirements.
  • Installs and maintains hardware equipment and software systems; performs preventive maintenance and tests and repairs equipment.
  • Evaluates system configuration and software to ensure effective use of computer resources.
  • Addresses and resolves hardware and software user issues; performs troubleshooting and diagnostic routines to identify problems related to hardware application software and network communications.
  • Assists in selection and evaluation of hardware and software.
  • Analyzes basic business needs and recommends ways to optimize PC computer resources.
  • Supports, maintains, and installs local area network server systems.

EducationAssociate’s degree in computer science or equivalent technical training; Bachelor’s degree in computer science preferred.

Work Environment/HoursA full-time non-exempt position working in the corporate office onsite in Calabasas. On-Call as needed.
