Herbicide Applicator Technician

DeAngelo Contracting Services (DCS) is seeking highly motivated Herbicide Applicator Technicians to support vegetation management operations along rights-of-way and roadsides. Responsibilities include weed control, grass and brush cutting, trimming, and herbicide application using spray trucks, ATVs, backpack sprayers, and hose systems.Key Responsibilities:Perform and document all required DOT truck inspections, including identifying and troubleshooting spray system or vehicle issues and reporting needed repairs.Maintain trucks, spray equipment, and tools in a clean, safe, and organized condition at all times.Operate herbicide application equipment safely and efficiently in a variety of field environments.Receive training to properly calibrate and operate all spray equipment.Develop a working knowledge of weed, grass, and brush identification.Gain an understanding of herbicides, application methods, target vegetation, and all related safety procedures to ensure customer expectations and compliance standards are met.
