Job Overview

We are seeking an energetic and dedicated Restaurant Manager to lead our dynamic food service team, to oversee daily operations, to ensure exceptional customer experiences and to create inviting atmosphere that keeps guests coming back. We preferred a successful restaurant management experience as well as computer experience such as emailing, word and excel spreadsheet, tip calculation, scheduling and much more to communicate with team members, potential client and office catering clients. Your leadership will drive team performance and optimize restaurant efficiency.

Responsibilities

Lead and supervise the restaurant operations, mostly front of the house staff management to ensure smooth and efficient daily functioning.

Maintain excellent customer service standards by addressing guest concerns promptly and professionally to enhance guest satisfaction.

Coordinate shift schedules, tip calculation, manage labor costs, and ensure adequate staffing levels during peak hours for optimal service without waste.

Handle Toast POS (Point of Sale) systems for accurate order processing, cash handling and cash balancing to ensure an accurate amount at all time.

Manage front of the house supplies control to minimize waste. File vendors invoices for payment processing.

Conduct interviews for prospective team members and participate in hiring decisions to build a skilled workforce and train, develop, and motivate staff to foster a high-performing team.

Oversee food safety protocols and sanitation standards to guarantee compliance with health regulations and promote a safe dining environment.

Support catering events, banquets, or special functions as needed to diversify revenue streams and elevate the restaurant’s reputation.

Collaborate with management on marketing initiatives or promotions to increase visibility and attract new customers.

Skills

Proven experience in food service management with casual or fine dining environments. (will need Managerial Food Handler certificate later)

Strong leadership skills with previous supervising or team management experience; capable of training & developing staff effectively.

Excellent customer service skills with the ability to handle challenging situations gracefully.

Proficiency in Toast POS systems and cash handling expertise required.

Experience with managing shifts efficiently, tip calculation, computer experience such as Excel spreadsheet and word.

Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in sanitation procedures, and compliance requirements.
