Key Responsibilities:

Cut, trim, bone, grind, and prepare various meats (beef, pork, poultry, etc.)

Sharpen and maintain knives and other cutting tools

Ensure proper storage and labeling of meat products

Monitor inventory and restock as needed

Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the work area and equipment

Provide excellent customer service and assist with custom meat orders

Follow all food safety and hygiene regulations

Qualifications:

Proven experience as a butcher or meat cutter

Knowledge of meat preparation techniques and cuts

Familiarity with safety and hygiene regulations

Ability to operate meat processing tools and equipment

Strong attention to detail and knife skills

Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift heavy items

Preferred Qualifications: (NOT REQUIRED)

Certification in food safety or meat processing

Prior experience in retail or grocery settings

Work Environment:

Work is performed in refrigerated areas

Use of sharp tools and machinery is required

Must be comfortable handling raw meat products
