HIRING - Loving Full-time Nanny Needed!

Location: Los Altos

Schedule: Monday through Friday, 7:30 or 8:00 am to 5:30 pm

Children: Children: 5 month old and 5 year old; primary care is for infant

Duties: Duties: Primary duties include caring for the baby and everything related to the baby, including preparing bottles and food for the baby, baby's laundry, taking baby out on walks, following baby's eating and sleeping schedule, tracking baby's milestones and development, and light tidying. Secondary duties, if time allows, include helping with family laundry and meal preparation.

Requirements: Ideal Candidate is loving, warm, trustworthy, an excellent communicator, a team player, receptive to feedback, and has extensive experience with infants and young children. The ideal Candidate has significant experience and knowledge in working with children under one year old, and can also act as a partner to parents in giving and receiving feedback. Family is seeking a Candidate who can be very gentle as their baby is small for her age. The baby is the primary focus of this role, but Family values a Candidate who is willing to pitch in while baby is napping. Candidate must be comfortable with parent(s) working from home and comfortable with a small dog. Candidate must have or be willing to obtain up-to-date vaccinations, including COVID and booster, flu, MMR, Tdap, Hepatitis A, Hepatitis B, and Meningococcal vaccinations.

Salary: $35-$40 per hour plus benefits: guaranteed pay 52 weeks per year, paid vacation time, paid sick time, paid holidays, monthly medical stipend

This family prefers to pay off the books, but is flexible to withhold taxes if their Nanny prefers this.

Requirements: Recent, long-term, professional (paid) experience with children, ideally as a Nanny in a private home with excellent references. Long-term teaching experience with children and recent & substantial work doing in-home childcare for a family may also qualify.
