Position: Professional Painter

Location: San Diego, CA

Employment Type: Full-Time

Pay:

Painters start at $25/hour (with performance-based raises).

Responsibilities:

Exterior Painting:

Surface Preparation – Pressure washing, sanding, scraping, and priming.

Wood & Stucco Repair – Minor patching, caulking, and sealing to ensure a smooth, long-lasting finish.

Masking & Protection – Properly covering windows, landscaping, and non-painted surfaces.

Spraying & Backrolling – Proficiency in using airless sprayers and backrolling for even coverage.

Trim, Fascia, & Eaves – Detail-oriented work, ensuring sharp lines and proper adhesion.

Garage Doors, Metal Railings & Fences – Prepping and applying rust-inhibiting primers and durable coatings.

Color Matching & Application – Applying high-quality Sherwin-Williams exterior coatings for maximum weather protection.

Interior Painting:

Walls, Ceilings, & Trim – Brushing, rolling, and spraying for a flawless finish.

Detail Work – Crisp cut-in lines and even coverage.

Cabinet Refinishing – Cleaning, sanding, priming, and spraying with Emerald Urethane Enamel or Pro Industrial coatings.

Drywall Patching & Repair – Small-scale repairs for seamless paint application.

Bonus Skills (Preferred but Not Required):

Lead Paint Experience & EPA Lead Certification – Knowledge of lead-safe work practices.

Epoxy Flooring – Experience with grinding, etching, and applying epoxy coatings.

Popcorn Ceiling Removal – Proper containment, wet removal, and skim coating for a smooth finish.

Drywall Repair – Larger patching, taping, and texturing experience.
