San Felipe Supported Living is a nonprofit agency that provides support for adults with developmental disabilities to live healthy, joyful, and fun lives. We value deep connections with people and believe that every person has the right to experience life to its fullest. We concentrate on individualizing the support with help of their families to fit the needs of what is important to each person.

We are looking for someone who has experience and an understanding with people who may have memory loss and/or early onset dementia.

This position can be challenging and requires a good communicator who is even tempered, patient, compassionate, cooperative, creative, flexible, responsible, and socially oriented.

Responsibilities include, but not limited to:

Explore/create new experiences and fun activities

Support the lives and needs of the individuals

Personal hygiene support for the individual as necessary

Redirection and de-escalation as needed

Medication management assistance

Meal preparation assistance

Collaborate and communicate with a team of support

Requirements:

Availability on weekday afternoons

Flexibility to work some weekend shifts

A reliable car

$24/ hour + Mileage
