This is a part-time, in-office position.
The Front Desk Agent will be responsible for providing guests with a warm, friendly, and personalized experience. They will greet guests and check in/out, answer questions about the hotel, provide information about our properties, and assist guests with their room reservations, billing, and check-outs.
Other responsibilities will include:
Greet guests with a warm and genuine smile.
Provide guests with information about our hotel and adjacent restaurant as well as our community.
Answer guest questions about the hotel; provide helpful information to resolve them.
Assist guests with their reservations, billing and check-outs.
Check guest out at the end of their stay and handle any remaining matters or questions.
Respond to clients complaints in a timely and professional manner.
Liaise with our housekeeping staff to ensure all rooms are clean and tidy to accommodate guests needs.
Liaise with maintenance when needed to ensure projects are completed timely and before guests check in.
Daily room checks
Respond to guest emails and phone calls in a timely manner
Perform other duties as assigned by management or supervisor. Forward event inquiries to our events coordinator.
Fundamentals:
To be successful in this role, you must have excellent English communication skills and be able to read, write and speak fluently. Attention to detail is a must. Familiar with web hotel PMS systems is a plus. Being able to multi-task well is a must and document reservations with detail is required. You will regularly use a computer and different software’s.
Experience:
Hotel experience: min. 1 year (Preferred)
Schedule:
To consist of either Monday/Tuesday or Tuesday/Wednesday from 10am to 7pm.
