Description Robert Half is partnering with a leading construction company in search of a dynamic HR Generalist who can manage day-to-day HR operations while ensuring compliance and alignment with organizational goals. Key Responsibilities
Administering and updating employee policies to align with legal requirements and company values.
Managing full-cycle recruitment, including job postings, screening candidates, conducting interviews, and onboarding.
Implementing HR programs such as performance evaluations, training, and professional development initiatives.
Handling employee relations issues by providing support, conflict resolution, and coaching to managers and staff.
Ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
Coordinating payroll and benefits administration in conjunction with third-party vendors.
Maintaining accurate records within HRIS and other HR-related systems.
Assisting with diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) initiatives within the organization.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
3+ years of experience in an HR generalist or similar role.
Thorough knowledge of HR principles, employment laws, and regulatory compliance.
Proficiency with HRIS systems (Workday, ADP, or similar software) and Microsoft Office Suite.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build relationships across all organizational levels.
Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
PHR or SHRM-CP certification is a plus but not required.
Prior experience in the construction or a related industry is highly desirable.
