Description We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for a Human Resources (HR) Manager in the beautiful city of Morgan Hill, California. As an HR Manager, you will be responsible for a variety of functions across the human resources spectrum, including maintaining employee records, managing recruitment and selection processes, and ensuring legal compliance. You will be joining a team that values communication, employee relations, and compliance within the industry.Responsibilities: Ensure accurate recording, maintenance, and reporting of human resource information. Oversee and manage the human resource database and ensure all new hire information is accurately entered and cross-checked. Foster management and employee relations by addressing demands, grievances, or other issues promptly. Ensure the company remains legally compliant by monitoring and implementing applicable human resource federal and state requirements, conducting investigations, and maintaining records. Implement and maintain the company handbook and job descriptions. Manage the recruitment and selection process, including preparing recruitment lists and job postings, and conducting employee orientations and onboarding. Oversee and manage a performance appraisal system that promotes high performance. Maintain the company's pay plan and benefits program, and assess training needs to apply and monitor training programs. Establish and maintain professional working relations with applicants, visitors, callers, and business professionals. Provide decision support to management through HR metrics. Requirements Proficiency in ADP - Financial Services and ADP Workforce Now Knowledge of ATS - Asynchronous Transfer Mode Familiarity with Ceridian and HCM software Experience in handling benefit functions Excellent communication skills Knowledge of compliance regulations and standards Experience in managing employee relations Proficiency in hiring processes Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field Proven experience as an HR Manager or similar role Understanding of general human resources policies and procedures Good knowledge of employment/labor laws Outstanding knowledge of MS Office; HRIS systems will be a plus Excellent communication and people skills Aptitude in problem-solving Desire to work as a team with a results-driven approach.
