Job Title: HVAC ForemanJob Description
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced HVAC Foreman to lead our commercial HVAC projects.
You will primarily oversee gas stations, multi-family buildings, and various types of commercial new construction projects across the Bay Area, from Dixon to San Jose.
You will ensure quality control across multiple job sites daily, with a company truck provided for travel between sites.
Initially, you may spend 40-50% of your time on tools, but this will reduce over time.
This role involves scheduling work and crews, estimating, and managing a team of six technicians organized into teams of two.
You will also communicate with general contractors and other subcontractors, handling RFIs, change orders, and other essential documentation.
Responsibilities
Lead commercial HVAC projects, primarily in gas stations, multi-family buildings, and various commercial new constructions.
Ensure quality control across multiple job sites daily.
Drive between work sites with a company-provided truck.
Perform hands-on HVAC work as needed, particularly in the short term.
Schedule work and crews in collaboration with the BDM (Acting Ops Manager).
Estimate project requirements and costs, with training available if needed.
Manage a team of six HVAC technicians organized into teams of two.
Communicate and coordinate with general contractors and other subcontractors.
Handle RFIs, change orders, and other project documentation.
Essential Skills
Experience in HVAC, specifically commercial HVAC.
Quality control expertise.
Scheduling experience.
Team management or leadership experience.
Estimating skills.
EPA 608 certification.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Prior estimating experience is preferred but not required.
