Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced HVAC Project Manager to oversee multiple new construction and change-out projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ordering materials, building quotes, tracking invoices, and ensuring projects are completed on time, within scope, and within budget.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Management:
- Manage multiple HVAC projects simultaneously, from inception to completion.
- Coordinate with clients, contractors, and internal teams to ensure smooth project execution.
- Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and work plans.
- Ensure all projects are completed in compliance with industry standards, building codes, and safety regulations.
- Material Ordering and Inventory Management:
- Order materials and equipment needed for projects.
- Track inventory levels and manage logistics to ensure timely delivery of materials.
- Negotiate with suppliers to secure the best prices and terms.
- Quoting and Invoicing:
- Build accurate and competitive quotes for new construction and change-out jobs.
- Track and manage invoices, ensuring timely payment and reconciliation.
- Work with the accounting department to resolve any billing issues.
- Team Coordination:
- Lead and motivate project teams, providing clear direction and support.
- Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress and address any issues.
- Coordinate subcontractors and ensure they adhere to project timelines and quality standards.
- Client Relations:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing their needs and concerns.
- Provide regular updates on project status and ensure client satisfaction.
- Handle any client complaints or issues promptly and professionally.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Project Manager in the HVAC industry or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, installation processes, and industry standards.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Proficient in project management software and tools.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work well under pressure.
