Hygiene Department Dental Assistant/Sterilization Tech

Our private practice is a professional, friendly, patient-focused dental office committed to providing high-quality care in a supportive environment. We are currently looking for a reliable, detail-oriented team player to join us as a Hygiene Assistant/Sterilization Tech with the ability to take accurate dental x-rays and coronal polish.

Key Responsibilities:

-Sterilize and disinfect instruments and treatment areas according to OSHA standards

-Prepare operatories for procedures

-Coronal polish and assist chairside as needed

-Take dental radiographs (X-rays) as directed by the dentist

-Maintain equipment and keep sterilization area organized and stocked

-Assist with other dental assistant duties as needed

Requirements:

-Valid X-ray certificate

-Coronal Polish Certificate

-Previous experience in a dental office.

-Strong attention to detail and cleanliness

-Excellent communication and teamwork skills

-Strong ability to work on ones own without direction

-Positive attitude and a willingness to learn and grow

-Current schedule M-F eventually we will open 1-2 Saturdays a week.
