Our subspecialized imaging physicians, American College of Radiology certified technologists and customer-service oriented staff provide our patients with brand-new imaging technologies and innovative treatment options in a compassionate environment.Summary of Essential Duties:

The Imaging Clinical Assistant will assist the physician and staff with invasive procedures (section specific) by functioning as a scrub technician and/or circulator in the imaging procedure room, as well as transport medications from the delivery area to an authorized imaging area.

Assists with procedure set up/break down, sterile field preparation, ensuring equipment/supplies are sterile, and ensuring that all specimens are taken to the lab.

Accountable for all applicable documentation relative to procedure performance and will escort/transport patients to and from the holding areas.

Exercises cultural competency in providing patient education.

Responsible for maintaining a safe environment and identifying and reporting any safety concerns.

Education:

High School Diploma or GED required

License/Certifications:

Heartsaver CPR certification from the American Heart Association required

Experience:

3 years of experience as a Tech Assistant in Imaging/Operating Room Tech or in a critical care area required
