They have a lot of injection molding machines and hot presses to make the parts. This is an ITAR facility.Setter OperatorsThe Setter is responsible for performing and planning mold changes including the setting of all process parameters to obtain a good quality part.Main tasks include: Understands and implements the health and safety policy and integrates health and safety considerations into daily work activities. Maintain adherence to company policies, safety/ergonomic standards, and good housekeeping practices, ensuring employees comply and correcting employee behavior if not in compliance. Carry out part changeovers / setups to productivity and machine general set-up (downtime, scrap, production quantities in compression and injection molding in an efficient manner to reduce downtime and scrap per the FNST defined targets. Set the parameters (temperature, cure time, bumping, pressure, etc.) to ensure process approval. Able to distinguish item codes, and differences in molds. Conduct light maintenance work and troubleshooting for process issues. Check molding parameters periodically to ensure a stable production processCryo OperatorResponsible for the safe and proper operation of Cryogenic Equipment, such as the Cryogenic Tumbler and/or the Cryogenic De-flashing machines used to de-flash molded parts by following work instructions and procedures, and monitoring and maintaining equipment as instructed in the maintenance program. Responsible for removing flash from most of the products manufactured at the facility. Set-up, cleaning, and operation of Cryo de-flashing equipment. De-flash molded parts following work instruction guidelines and work order schedule. Maintain Cryo equipment as required by the Maintenance program. Ability to recognize equipment problems and correct minor difficulties. Fills out proper work order information for each procedure and complete all applicable logs as directed in work instructions. Follows the prescribed procedures for finishing different product types. Monitor quality of Cryo de-flashed molded parts for visual defects.Tumbler OperatorThe Tumble Operator is responsible for removing heavy flash lines (especially from silicone and Fluor silicone product) and surface defects from product manufactured at the Santa Ana facility. This is done using the Rock or Centrifugal Tumblers. To timely and efficiently finish product delivered to work area To follow the prescribed procedures for finishing different product types To assist in managing workflow To load and unload Tumblers To separate product from tumble media using the sort tables To maintain product separation and traceability. They are open to having people with no previous experience as long as they are willing to learn their trade and work hard.
