Production Worker II- $20-24/hr (12 HOUR SHIFT)- Hiring ASAPJob DescriptionA manufacturing company for premium labels is seeking a Production Worker Level 2. This role requires adherence to all plant and corporate safety rules, procedures, and guidelines. The Production Worker II is responsible for maintaining a clean and safe work environment, completing quality checks, and utilizing manufacturing equipment to produce products according to customer specifications while ensuring quality, waste, and press efficiency.Responsibilities

Adhere to all plant and corporate safety rules, procedures, and guidelines.

Report all safety concerns or issues to immediate supervisor.

Maintain a clean and safe work environment by completing daily housekeeping assignments.

Complete make-ready in accordance with Job Ticket and Product Specification documents to ensure correct print cylinders, inks, substrates, tooling, and anilox rollers are used.

Perform all required quality checks related to product specifications, visual, and functional checks.

Complete all press-side quality checks.

Utilize manufacturing equipment to produce products according to customer specifications while maintaining quality, waste, and press efficiency.

Maintain consistent quality during the production run, including critical quality checks such as copy, color, registration, and ink adhesion.

Ensure conformance to all other quality checks.

Complete all related procedures, work instructions, and quality measurements as outlined in the BRC standard.

Clean plate, cylinder, and ink pans, and lubricate manufacturing equipment as needed.

Input all required information into the GlobeTek system for material usage and time accurately and promptly.

Essential Skills

At least 1+ years of print shop experience.

At least 2 years of experience in the same role within manufacturing.

Ability to communicate and interact well with others in both verbal and written forms; seen as a team player.

Ability to read and understand a job ticket.

Ability to read a ruler and understand measurements (able to pass a ruler test).

Correctable vision to 20/20 (able to pass an eye test).

Ability to differentiate colors (able to pass a color test).

Ability to input data into a computer.

Ability to work in a team environment with a high sense of urgency for on-time completion of assigned activities.

Self-motivated with the ability to stay focused and follow instructions.

Ability to stand and move around the production area for long periods of time.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Ability to prioritize, multi-task, and work in a fast-paced environment.

Assertive and solution-focused.

Physical demands include standing, using hands to feel and touch, reaching with arms and hands, talking, hearing, frequent walking, occasional climbing or balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling.

Must be able to regularly lift or move up to 50 pounds.

Specific vision requirements include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.

Shift schedules include A Shift (3AM - 3PM), B Shift (3PM - 3AM), C Shift (3AM - 3PM), and D Shift (3PM - 3AM) with varying work days.
