Immunologist

Eurofins Lancaster Laboratories, a nationally recognized laboratory, is searching for an experienced Immunologist to work in our Professional Scientific Services group in San Diego, CA. The person in this role will work in a cross-functional environment and assist key lab operations including culture of cell lines, immune cells and other primary cells, in vitro and ex vivo cell-based assays, and multi-color flow cytometry.Main Job ResponsibilitiesResponsibilities include, but are not limited to:Cell isolation & culture: isolate, culture, and/or manipulate primary immune cells (e.g., T cells, B cells, and PBMCs), non-immune cells (e.g., fibroblasts, epithelial cells), and cell lines.Functional cell assay execution: design, execute, and troubleshoot in vitro and ex vivo cell assays to evaluate target biology and drug mechanism of action.Immunophenotyping: perform multi-color flow cytometry experiments to monitor immune cell identity markers, cell phenotype, and/or target expression.Data analysis & communication: analyze, interpret, and communicate data effectively to team members.Documentation: keep meticulous records of experiments performed and maintain lab notebook entries.
