In-House Litigation Paralegal

Description A growing real estate company with a multi-state presence is seeking an in-house litigation paralegal.This in-house litigation paralegal will assist with a variety of real estate and landlord/tenant issues under the direction of outside counsel. Knowledge of litigation practice areas such as habitability, landlord/tenant, or HOA law is helpful but not required. A solid understanding of CA civil litigation codes & procedures is imperative. Paralegal certificate or formal attestation

Understanding of civil litigation procedures (ideally, but not necessarily, in residential real estate) - discovery, subpoenas, document production

Notary Public helpful, but not required

Pay is contingent upon the experience above, plus stability on resume and caliber of firms/companies worked at. This job requires being on site in Tustin 3-4x/week, from roughly 8:30am to 5pm. Please do not apply if you do not live in Orange County.Requirements Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Litigation Paralegal, preferably within the Real Estate industry. Proficiency in Civil Litigation (in CA). Experience in handling Subpoenas, Discovery Requests, and Discovery Responses. Expertise in Electronic Discovery and Document Production.
