Independent Contractor – Weekly Backgammon Event Host

The San Diego Backgammon Club is looking for an independent contractor to help run our lively weekly backgammon events.

What You’ll Do

Arrive Wednesday by 4:30 pm to set up sign-up sheets and collect entry fees

Organize brackets for players and record match results

Handle the setup and takedown of backgammon boards and related materials.

Handle light cash accounting and answer basic questions

Keep the evening running smoothly so everyone has fun

About

One evening per week, about 3–4 hours

Fun, social atmosphere with a friendly community of players

No backgammon experience required—just reliability, good organization, and a welcoming personality
