Industrial Automation VMI Specialist

We are looking for an Industrial Automation VMI Specialist to join our Rexel USA team in Sacramento, CA! Summary:

Industrial Automation VMI Specialist is responsible for operational analysis and execution at contracted customer sites for Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI). Additionally, responsible for execution and management of assessments, proposals, submittals, schedules, and on-site customer services for various end user projects.

What You'll Do:Establish and foster relationships with the sales department and customers to better understand sales potential and ascertain customer needsManage the VMI sales process (data collection, analysis, preparation of findings, price negotiations, etc.)Implement customer on-site VMI programs: design inventory solutions, receiving and delivering product, stocking, and labeling finished goodsPrepare, analyze, and deliver scheduled VMI customer reviewsTrain new hires on VMI process (data analysis, replenishment, etc.)Conduct customer onsite assessments, evaluations, and other on-site services as neededIdentify opportunities for on-site services, such as repairs, and provide information to customers about the services offeringsResolve customer concerns regarding billing, credit and products sold; refer concerns to appropriate departments for investigation and resolutionIdentify and utilize business system, CRM tools, and other vendor tools to support customer quotations and ordersAssist with VMI and assessment proposals and quotesManage time sensitive quote requests including assessment opportunitiesKeep an accurate daily record of expensesOther duties as assigned
