Job Title: Industrial EngineerJob DescriptionThe Industrial Engineer applies engineering techniques to design, develop, test, and evaluate integrated systems for managing industrial production processes, including human work factors, quality control, inventory control, logistics and material flow, cost analysis, and production coordination. The role involves applying statistical methods and performing mathematical calculations to determine manufacturing processes, staff requirements, and production standards. The Industrial Engineer also considers workflow, layout, and safety measures when designing industrial plants and facilities. They coordinate quality control objectives and activities to resolve production problems, maximize product reliability, and minimize costs. Additionally, the Industrial Engineer drafts and designs layouts of equipment, materials, and workspaces to illustrate maximum efficiency using drafting tools and computers.Responsibilities
Ensure design meets organizational and production goals.
Study functional statements, organization charts, and project information to determine functions and responsibilities of workers and work units and to identify areas of duplication.
Establish work measurement programs and analyze work samples to develop standards for labor utilization.
Analyze workforce utilization, facility layout, and operational data such as production costs, process flow charts, and production schedules to determine efficient utilization of workers and equipment.
Recommend methods for improving worker efficiency and reducing waste of materials and utilities, such as restructuring job duties, reorganizing workflow, relocating workstations and equipment, and purchasing equipment.
Confer with management and engineering staff to implement plans and recommendations.

Additional Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field preferred.
Minimum of 1-3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment or a combination of education and experience.
