We are continuously developing new answers for rail automation – often to questions that haven’t been asked yet.Position Overview:The Industrial Engineer specializing in Data and Transaction Process Automation is responsible for comprehensively understanding the data, processes, and transactions related to the Warehouse, Tooling, and Consumables group. This role involves developing and implementing automated processes to significantly enhance operational efficiency and accuracy.What your day may look like:

Manage data which comprises of analyzing raw and highly complex data from share point, SAP, and other standalone software platforms using advanced skills in excel and Tableau.

Develop new reports, analyze existing reports, and monitor key performance indicators in our reporting and automate the communication of performance.

Automate Siemens consumables to production and supplier to buyer collaboration by integrating internal and external data into a dashboard including purchase orders, invoicing, goods receipt, goods delivered, order status and requisitions placed.

Have a practical working knowledge of processes and transactions within ordering, purchasing, tracking, receiving, picking, put away, and inventory management systems.

Collaborate with leadership, warehouse team members, tool crib technicians, and production team members to understand the tooling and consumables workflow and SAP workflow issues and eliminate them at the root cause.

Automate required manual processes such as requisition entry into SAP, Transfer Requests to Transfer Orders, and Printing of Shop Floor Papers post SAP Transactions.

Automate exporting, logging, and formatting of data from SAP or other database to create material layouts for kitting into material carts and hardware suitcases showing specific bin location maps using excel macros or VBA.

Translate business problems into process automation projects and lead execution across cross-functional teams by creating user friendly apps that can more widely be used on mobile devices.

Understand and translate daily transactional issues into the relevant stories and work with the SAP development team to make changes and test for bugs.

Extend SAP functionality through scripting and/or using Mendix to accelerate the application development process to allow faster improvements .

What will make you successful in this role:

Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline – Engineering, business, commercial, manufacturing degree.

3-5 years of hands-on experience in a manufacturing environment, excluding internships.

Expert in advanced Excel (Macros, conditional logics and other advanced excess skills)

Expert in advanced MS Share Point

Expert in advanced Power BI

Expert in advanced SAP - Warehouse Management System

Preferred Qualifications:

Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Systems, Industrial Engineering.

5-7 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
