Information Technology Help Desk

Description Robert Half is in search of an Information Technology Help Desk for a Healthcare non-profit origination in the San Diego area. Are you on the job market? The Information Technology Help Desk provides essential system support for the company’s end users, focusing on the installation, configuration, and maintenance of all hardware, software, and peripheral devices. This role includes collaboration with the system administration team to ensure seamless operations and adherence to healthcare compliance requirements.Information Technology Help Desk Responsibilities:

Provide technical support for end users, focusing on Windows 11 and other healthcare-specific applications, while maintaining the highest level of customer service.

Create system data reports using desktop management software. Work closely with systems analysts team to ensure the accuracy of workstation reports/processes. The Support Technician must be capable of utilizing industry standard remote support tools as well as automating help desk related duties.

Assist in the creation and maintenance of desktop infrastructure documentation, including instructional guides, procedural documents, and knowledge base articles.

Requirements

Information Technology Help Desk Requirements:

Proficient in Windows 10/11 operating systems

Strong knowledge of hardware and software troubleshooting.

Experience with VOIP systems, VLANs, and Active Directory.

Familiarity with Mobile Device Management solutions like managing iOS devices

Experience with VMware Horizon or similar platforms for VDI infrastructure.

Basic knowledge of Microsoft Exchange Admin Center

Basic knowledge of client to server technology, cabling and networking.
