This is a HYBRID ROLE - with 1-2 days in the office in Downtown Los Angeles (New York, NY may also be considered) KEYSTechnology - WebSphere, JBoss (sunsetting WebLogic)Operational - Technical lead, working with the vendor and being the internal point person

WHAT IS THE OPPORTUNITY?The Infrastructure Middleware Administrator oversees and performs all duties on a variety of platforms. This includes performing software/hardware upgrades, ensuring backups are being performed regularly, ensuring that the platforms are performing to their potential, and addressing any issues that arise. Developing and maintaining infrastructure/process logs, documentation, process metrics, process schedules, security, and capacity trending will be part of the daily activities. The Infrastructure Middleware Administrator will be responsible for ensuring the platforms are current on the marketplace and make recommendations where they see opportunities for improvement or suspect future issues based on growth and capacity. Additionally, at the senior level this position possesses advanced competencies, mentors and leads other staff, provides additional peer review, and recommends and leads improvement initiatives. WHAT WILL YOU DO?Expertise in Middleware Technologies (IIS, JBoss, Apache, Tomcat, WebLogic, WebSphere, OpenShift/Container) supporting largescale organization.Demonstrate experience in installation, configuration, troubleshooting and deploying applications in an enterprise middleware environment (WebLogic, WebSphere, JBoss, tomcat, Apache, Node.js, etc.).Architect, build, and scale middle tier infrastructure and applicationsPartner with Architects, Developers, Project Managers and other engineers to implement middleware solutions and support Business requirementsContribute to key technical directions and strategic decision discussions for Middleware solutionsProficient with JBoss Installation, Java EE architecture, JBoss AS Structure and Architecture
