The Federal Reserve Bank of San Francisco is seeking an Integration Architect to join the National Integration Services (NIS) API team. NIS is a dynamic, enterprise-level organization with a passion for building the Bank of tomorrow on the best technology available. NIS supervises a portfolio of both established and emerging data/application integration products architected to support the critical systems. We are looking for an Integration Architect to join our NIS team.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor in Computer Science, Information Systems, Computer Engineering, Cybersecurity, Systems Analysis or a related field
  • Working knowledge of Mulesoft and other API lifecycle management platforms at the level of a subject matter expert
  • Typically requires 5+ years of technical architecture experience with all aspects of an integration product from design through development, testing, implementation, and production with extensive technical breadth through experience in the IT industry with a focus on API Gateways.
  • AWS cloud architect certified

Responsibilities:
  • Analyzes the current hybrid cloud/on premises API Gateway integration platform to detect critical deficiencies and recommend solutions for improvement and increased performance
  • Collaborates with business lines, architects, application development teams and thought leaders to establish and maintain highly resilient, reusable, scalable, and standardized data integration patterns
  • Analyzes existing business processes and data flows to develop system designs,I delivery roadmaps and integrations to other systems
  • Transforms business requirements into scalable/manageable integration architecture and design specifications
  • Creates prototypes and authors detailed interaction specifications
  • Defines and delivers integrated solutions by applying proven Agile delivery methodologies
  • Designs Technical/Integration Architectures, including development, runtime and operations architectures

Additional Responsibilities:
  • Defines API integration patterns, automating business process models and cloud based services
  • Designs API driven architectures
  • Develops integration architecture roadmaps to future state
  • Interacts with business lines to meet requirements for volume and performance
  • Meets with IT teams to ensure progress towards architectural alignment in an API ecosystem
  • Partners with other functions across IT (PM, BA, EA, Security, Operations) to ensure collaboration, consistency, quality and timeliness of solution
  • Identifies opportunities for reuse
  • Viewed as an expert and provides knowledge and counsel to others
  • Participates in domain technical and business discussions relative to future architecture direction.
  • Drives technology improvements within the sphere of influence and complexity levels.
  • Analyzes, designs, and develops a roadmap and implementation plan.
  • Participates in developing policies, standards, guidelines and procedures.
  • Analyzes the current architecture to identify weaknesses and develop opportunities for improvements.
  • Researches and evaluates emerging technology, industry and market trends.
  • Advises on options, risks, costs versus benefits, system impacts, and technology priorities.
  • Provides leadership, technology guidance and mentors others.

Base Salary Range: Min: 110,300V Mid: $143,300 Max: $176,300 (Location: San Francisco)

Final salary and offer will be determined by the applicant's background, experience, skills, internal equity, and alignment with geographic and other market data.
